Angie and Nathan are a couple that are very near to my heart. They were one of my first couples back when my business was still just getting started and we’ve been fortunate enough to see them at a lot of weddings ever since telling everyone that they possibly could about us. I seriously can’t thank you guys enough for that gift. It is the highest compliment that we can receive. I’ve only recently began to photograph anniversary sessions for couples, an interested that was sparked with being photographed by my friend Abby Grace a couple years back. I love anniversary sessions because it allows the couple to reconnect with who they are as a couple, to take a moment to appreciate and love their partner, and because it will serve as a reminder in the future of why you two chose each other. I loved what Angie said about marriage. “The absolute best things about being married has been having a teammate in life. While we’ve only been married for five years, we’ve encountered many situations that cover a broad range of emotions – the death of my mother, the birth of our sons, finding our new identities as parents. Through it all, we are a team. It’s so reassuring to know we’ve always got someone who has the other’s best interest at heart.” Angie & Nathan, I am in awe of the family that you’ve created and the love and support that you two give each other, thank you for standing in front of my lens and allowing me to capture once more the love you two share.
