I remember when we both left for different places on spring break our senior year of college and I opened my apartment door to find Adam had written me a letter that I could read when I missed him. I read that letter and spent the whole week wishing I was back in Blacksburg so I could be with him. That’s when I realized I loved him. Since then his love letters have become my favorite gifts and that’s how he popped the question. We had been planning to wait a little to get engaged and he wrote me a letter to tell me “why it would be worth the wait”. In the letter he told me how much he loved me and that he couldn’t wait to spend the rest of his life with me. The last line of the letter asked me to meet him downstairs and he was there waiting to propose!
