I think that this day and age just about everything is digital. We take photos on our digital phone or camera, download them to our digital computer and share them digitally online or on our digital tablet. But when do we ever print photos out? This is a growing problem I see with photography in general, we’re not printing our photos any more. They’re just being filed away on our computer or burnt to cd, or live solely on our iPhone which is just not the same.
Do you remember going to your grandparents home and looking at old photo albums or photos on the wall, I remember pouring through my mothers albums that she had made when we were kids at least every other month. It isn’t just images on the wall it is history, it is life and I think it’s time that we take a cue from grandma and start to print more of our photos.
Kristy and I decided to do just that and we went to Ikea to buy a ton of silver frames, it took some effort but we ended up creating a photo wall that we love. It’s so important to print your photos to display them and have them out, to touch feel and experience them. We challenge you to print out your favorite photos, but it may be difficult narrowing it down. Who knows you might just end up with a wall like this!
