Photographing Kristi + Dave’s wedding at Princess Anne Country Club was such a treat. Not only was it a perfect fall day (not too cold not to hot), but their wedding was filled with so many heartfelt moments! My favorites were when her father saw her for the first time or when her daughter was playing with her underneath the veil (it doesn’t get much cuter than that)! These two are some of the most kind and down to earth people that you’ll ever meet and their children are so adorable! Kristi & Dave I hope you two love your photos, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your wedding day!!!
“I was living in San Diego at the time. He was on a work trip in Nevada and decided to visit his brother who was living in San Diego at the time. I was throwing a bachelorette party for my best friend in the Gaslamp District. It was the last bar of the night and a friend of mine spotted him standing in the corner of the bar and said “He’s cute. I’m going to go get him for you.” I’m a super shy girl so of course I was mortified. He came over and we started talking. He ended up walking my friends and I back to our hotel. We ended up sitting outside on a bench for 6 hours talking. I knew that night I was going to marry him. When I went to my room my best friend (the bride) said “What did you think?” I said, “I’m going to marry him.” Had no clue it would take 13 years, LOL! Anyways, he left the next day to go back to Nevada and then back to Virginia Beach where he is stationed. We did a year long distance including a 6 month deployment. There were a lot of flights from coast to coast that year, LOL! . After his 6 month deployment I moved to Virginia Beach to be with him and here we are 13 years later with 3 kiddos and a cat finally getting married.”
